The Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting Krones’ growth in Kenya through growth of existing customers, and business development to introduce new customers and categories within Kenya to the business. 

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Establish and keep close contact with all customers and provide effective customer solutions using Krones’ portfolio.
  • Grow the New Machines and After Sales solutions businesses (spare parts, retrofits and upgrades, Service Level Agreements, Training Solutions and Operating Supplies such as lubricants, adhesives and cleaning agents)
  • Build strong customer relationships with all key and potential players in the Kenyan market
  • Document New Machine and After Sales solutions opportunities, prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close deals while following the company processes and policies
  • Liaise with Krones New Machine, After Sales and Technical teams based in Nairobi to obtain all necessary information and support
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their orders and ensure technical clarification and delivery timelines are met
  • Build a strong network with key stakeholders in Krones AG (Germany)
  • Lead the communication between Krones AG and East Africa operational departments and the customer to facilitate effective and efficient resolution of customer requests
  • Facilitate all client logistics, administration, and financial management transactions
  • Ensure all orders are completed according to agreement with customer
  • Participate in special projects by helping to co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Take ownership of receivable collections for customers
  • Regular travel to customer locations, performance of product presentations and attendance of relevant project meetings
  • Grow the market for New Machine and After Sales solutions by identifying and engaging with new customers

Ihr Profil

  • University degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Process Engineering or Business Administration with a solid technical understanding
  • At least 3 years in a similar field/position
  • Customer relations and orientation
  • Sales effectiveness and understanding
  • Basic understanding of Bottling plants and our Krones product portfolio
  • General project management abilities
  • Good business administration and financial understanding
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with good English writing and speaking skills

  • Computer literate- use of MS Office
