Your Tasks

  • Support and maintenance of the control and HMI software with associated libraries (B&R and/or TIA and VisiWin)
  • Test and validation of new functions and transfer to the software library
  • Accompanying software developments as a contact person for development
  • Timely provision of order-specific machine and/or visualisation software (PLC/HMI)
  • Technical inspection and independent processing of the order (project) as well as coordination and clarification with responsible interfaces
  • Installation of the software for commissioning and start-up
  • Testing of the software in close coordination with the assembly department and, if necessary, on site at the customer's premises
  • Internal contact person for global software issues and troubleshooting
  • Interface maintenance with adjacent internal and external areas
  • Support function for design, internal assembly and service department in the event of software problems and also on-site at the customer's premises if required

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical/automation engineering, technical computer science or similar
  • Alternative: Completed training and advanced training as a master electrician or electrical engineer with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Siemens TIA-Portal, ideally also Rockwell ControlLogix or B&R Automation Studio
  • Experience in projecting Zenon and VisiWin visualisation systems
  • Knowledge of Asi-Safety desirable
  • Practical experience in the field of labelling, inspection, filling, plastics or process technology of advantage
  • Analytical skills, communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good to very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German
  • Willingness to travel
