Your Tasks

  • Optimisation of internal logistic sequences and processes, e.g. by optimising transport devices and introducing scanning technology in the monitoring of materials
  • Providing support in special topics such as planning the opening hours in the goods receipt, organising special trips between plants, monitoring of materials with high priorisation
  • Management and documentation of internal logistic sequences, e.g. by digitalization of tickets and IMS documents
  • Drawing up invitations to tender, e.g. for forklifts (requirements, investment applications, quotation comparisons) and preparing documents for decision-making
  • Application for road traffic permission
  • Providing support for safeguarding and further developing of quality standards along the logistics chain, e.g. handling shipping damage, correction of faulty labelling, permanent removal of defects
  • Releasing orders, auditing accounts and assigning to the correct cost units
  • Processing of subject-specific enquiries, ensuring the correct documentation, providing support in applying for permissions from authorities
  • Contact for internal and external work contract service providers

Your Profile

  • Completed relevant vocational training and subject-specific additional qualification or comparable qualification
  • Experience in logistics and/or relevant further training as a logistics expert
  • Structured, systematic and result-oriented way of working
  • Strong teamworking and communication skills
  • Resilience and willingness to work
  • Sound knowledge of handling MS Office and SAP
  • Good to very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German
