Your Tasks

  • Developing planning suggestions for modernisation/maintenance and new construction, as well as their implementation and supervision with the corresponding documentation
  • Creating and examining tender documents, assigning and awarding planning and construction services in compliance with the national and European contract award regulations in cooperation with the Purchasing Dept.
  • Consulting throughout the phases of service provision according to the Regulations on Architects' and Engineers' Fees (HOAI) regarding the topics fire protection, water or drinking water supply
  • Carrying out stress analyses in building construction and civil engineering
  • Initiation of approval procedures at building and other authorities
  • Budget planning and time scheduling, as well as intra-departmental cost controlling
  • Cost accounting, control and management throughout the phases of the construction work
  • Documentation and analysis of the building inventory and the areas
  • Technical contact for the contractors and service providers and their supervision
  • Cooperation in international projects

Your Profile

  • Degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Job-relevant practical experience in the field of HAOI phases of service provision, new construction and redevelopment in industrial construction desirable
  • Experience in the field of fire protection and drinking water, as well as in support structure planning for civil engineering construction would be an advantage
  • Safe handling of the relevant guidelines (technical standards and regulations, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team and very good communication and moderator skills
  • Personal initiative, flexibility and willingness to perform
  • Independent and conceptual work style
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, as well as AVA programs and Revit
  • Good spoken and written English and German 
  • Willingness to travel
