Your tasks

  • Based on requirements you are able to plan the right automation test strategy , implement processes , select relevant automation tools , run automation cycles , update results in test management tools , document bugs , perform bug retests & plan maintenance of scripts offering services to all the 4 layers.  
  • You are able to individually set up Selenium Automation Test Framework from Scratch which can includes seamless step by step integration of tools like - GIT / Jenkins-Circle CI / Maven / TestNG / TestFlo / Cypress / RESTful API - Microservices - Webservices / Soap UI / Postman / JUnit / Cucumber / Ansible / Docker / Kubernetes / Apache Tomcat / Eclipse IDE & compatible with both Java and Python programming. 
  • You are able to Integrate CI – CD capability into this Automation Test Framework for all stages of STLC from unit tests to acceptance tests.
  • You are able to integrate all of the Automation Test Framework Best Practices like for e.g. Parameterization using Data Providers , Listeners & Keyword driven framework.
  • You are expected to document online in Confluence all software details like – versions , initial conditions , integrations of different tools , software updates & technical assumptions for ready reference related to the Automation Test Framework.
  • Derive Critical Test Metrics from Automation Test Results & Ensure compliance to defined QA Gates for entire SDLC & STLC.
  • Support Implementation of QA Audits & QA Audit retrospective along with support for Manual Test Cycles as required.
  • You are constantly involved in further development of our test concept & test strategy & share testing best practices with different tribes and teams.
  • You support Peer Reviews of all documentation & document there results online. 
  • You suggest enhancements from Time to Time to improve UI & UX for SUT & offer Best in the Industry bug free software quality release experience to End Customers.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science streams.
  • You have Minimum of 2 to 8 years of work experience as a QA or Test Engineer with a dedicated focus on Automation Test Framework creation and management in an agile product development-based organization. Profiles with more years of relevant experience will also be considered positively. 
  • You are able to independently plan , integrate , deploy & maintain Selenium automation test framework from scratch.
  • You are able to switch between to deploy & integrate other Automation frameworks like Cypress or Katalon as required. 
  • You are able to support Manual Test Cycles.
  • You are familiar with QA processes and QA audits.
  • You are familiar working with Agile – Scrum Teams & Agile based SDLC.
  • Familiar with SDLC tools like JIRA & STLC tools like Azure or Xray.
  • You understand the importance of documentation & peer reviews.
  • You are familiar with programming languages like Java,.Net ,Python , C ++ , C 
  • Excellent command over English – Spoken & Written.

  • You are able to draft & pitch crisp , to the point presentations convincingly .
  • You have good patience in correctly answering Automation & Test related queries continuously. 
  • You are comfortable in making a self introduction & perform cold calling to reach out to all kinds of stakeholders.
  • You are able to maintain good focus on urgent tasks while at the same time multitask with planning for non-urgent tasks under pressure situations .
  • You are able to seek & offer , guidance & help to/from team members without hesitation whenever required.
  • You understand the difference between Internal & External Customers for Products under Development.
  • You are able to work in teams in highly supportive & symbiotic Agile roles.
  • You are open to coaching, continuous learning and highly receptive to constructive feedback.
  • You are able to break up any complex system into simpler parts to find structured solutions. 
  • You are able to work in an international multi-cultural setup with time zones overlap and take responsibility for your tasks and take initiative under limited supervision while working remotely.

Good to have:

  • You are certified for ISTQB , AWS , CCNA .
  • You are familiar with working of KanBan & Six Sigma. 
  • Implementation Experience of QA Processes & QA Audit 
  • You have worked earlier with an International Teams Environment spread over multiple countries & time zones for Agile Product Development.
  • Knowledge of German Language  
  • You have participated in extracurricular activities like collaborative research & paper presentations during your academic or professional pursuits. 
  • You are familiar with working of different departments together in collaboration for a Manufacturing setup through a visit to Live Manufacturing Facility.
