Your tasks

  • Design and Develop new ServiceNow applications and services
  • Assists Business Process Analyst in estimating release level of effort
  • Review any requests for enhanced feature functionality and prioritize accordingly
  • Ensure latest platform upgrades and features are enabled
  • Manages and resolves incidents against ServiceNow applications
  • Ensure stability and performance with expertise in application maintenance, user management, and support incident management, along with strong technical abilities
  • Works with the rest of the ServiceNow platform team, Platform and Process Owners on configuring and maintaining ServiceNow Platform components
  • Works across applications, delivers new functionality and innovative solutions, and supports the entire development lifecycle
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements
  • Should be able to lead ServiceNow upgrades by planning and execution
  • Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists 
  • Contributes to ServiceNow releases and works on incident resolution
  • Extensive review of new version release notes by identifying and documenting changes to Platform functionality to understand impact (positive/negative) to implementation
  • Ensure latest upgrades and features are enabled
  • Work with ServiceNow and the community by participating in local user groups and knowledge events to expand Platform knowledge and network

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or a comparable qualification
  • 8- 10 years of ServiceNow Developer experience 
  • ServiceNow Certificates (CSA & CAD & Scripting)
  • Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
  • Certificates in ITSM/OTM and IRM are a bonus
  • Experience in configuring ITSM module (esp. Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management etc.) 
  • Trainings/Certificates are a bonus in: ServiceNow Fundamentals, ServiceNow System Administration (CSA), ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, ServiceNow Platform Implementation, Application Creation in ServiceNow 
  • Basic understanding of Business Processes
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
