Your tasks

  • Driving all HR related matters during the ramp up phase of the production plant in India 
  • Developing and heading a resilient HR organization, while meeting requirements of a fast-paced production environment and aligning the local HR strategy with regional initiatives and the Head of regional HR APAC 
  • Creating an organizational framework and structures that are supported by local HR policies and aligning it with corporate and regional governance and stakeholders 
  • Building a sustainable skill development strategy and targeted qualification initiatives to ensure necessary skill levels are being met at any time
  • Working on training/apprenticeship concepts with external development institutions (f.e Skill center, universities) to create a steady talent stream for the organization 
  • Defining a recruitment strategy to support high – volume recruitment needs (blue collar / white collar), utilizing diverse recruitment channels and building an attractive employer image through hosting regular employer branding initiatives 
  • Co-creating competitive compensation and benefits structures, embedded in a job architecture framework, suitable for production environments and in coordination with corporate HR responsibilities 
  • Supporting incoming and outgoing international assignments to secure stable know-how transfer from and to other entities ensuring compliance requirements are met at any time 
  • Offering HR service excellence through setting up local core HR Processes (f.e payroll, time and leave management) in a manner that creates a great employee experience and is aligned with the underlying shift model, labor law and legal regulation at any time        
     

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s’ or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or similar
  • At least 6-8 years of work experience in a multinational business environment, preferably in production environments and/or a comparable position 
  • Experience of production plant ramp up phases and project-related HR work is beneficial 
  • Strong analytical and operational HR skills across HR disciplines (Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management, Employer Branding) 
  • Experience in leading and developing HR departments in production environments 
  • Working in a matrix organization and dealing with different company cultures, preferably with previous professional international exposure (f.e. assignment) 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & hands-on mentality 
  • Time efficient working style and great coordination skills 
  • Absolutely trustworthy personality 
  • Very strong English communication skills 
  • Familiarity with legal aspects and local labor law required 
  • Track record of successfully supported change process beneficial
  • Familiarity with SAP / Success Factors and implementation of HR software beneficial
