Your Tasks

  • Building and maintaining relationships with the allocated Customers technical and management team, KAG and KSA projects and sales teams, Service Teams, sub-contractors and KSA stakeholders.
  • Assisting allocated customers with scoping and planning of new machine and retrofit projects. Attending project meetings as required before, during and after the project.
  • Working closely with Customers and Head of Service to ensure allocation of resources required to execute customer projects effectively.
  • Ensuring all project documents and control systems are kept up to date as required from KSA management and KAG project control (SAP)
  • Controlling projects with regards to deadlines kick-off meetings, budgets, quality of work, risk assessment, claims, closure and handover meetings. Ensure all projects are closed out technically and commercially with the all Krones stakeholders.
  • Ensuring effective project management on allocated projects, ensuring that all actions and planning done is in accordance with cost saving initiative, working towards the target as set out by Krones.
  • Handling deviations between contract and quotations, any claims relating to the allocated project between Krones, customers and sub-contractors
  • Ensure the Customer is continually updated with regards to the progress or deviations from initial project plan of the projects and ensuring minimal Customer escalations
  • Ensuring effective communication with customers, assisting them with technical support offering solutions and troubleshooting where required
  • Liaise and coordinate between the Customer, KSA and KAG ensuring issues are closed out timeously. Ensure that the KSP is updated regularly, including all relevant KPI’s from eg. OSR.
  • Claim and reclamation management with KAG and Customers during at any stage in the project this is usually done during the installation and commissioning phase of the project
  • Daily reports are to be obtained daily and reviewed with the BSTL, the same goes for the weekly Onsite report.
  • Compiling BSTL Handover Folder and managing it to competition.
  • Active participation with the Sales team when New Machine business is under discussion, which in turn drives technician utilisation and overall revenue.
  • Planned customer visits to be shared regularly to allow Sales, and other Krones Stakeholders to join.
  • Collaborative engagement with the Service Managers and Dispatchers regarding the allocation and utilization of technicians, which will allow for broader skills development.
  • Proactive participation in personal development along with direct line manager.

Your Profile

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years in Project Management or Project Engineering experience
  • Technical sales and customer facing roles in the packaging or beverage industry
  • SAP experience in project management
  • MS Office (Including MS Projects/Project)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

    Advantageous

  • 5 years technical experience in the Packaging or Beverage industry
  • Working knowledge of the Krones portfolio and Marketing principles
  • Diploma in Project Management, PMP certification etc.
